The Sega Genisis.

10 replies 3 views Edited Nov 15, 2006
How much do you guys think I could get if I traded in a Sega Genisis that's in pristine condition, with 6 games? Please be brutally honest. My parents don't want to spend $399.99 on a "game" (Xbox 360) so I have to trade some stuff in. Thanks for any replies.

Honestly...not any more than 50-60 bucks.  It is really old, and not many people want them anymore.

I'm trading it in at Gamestop on Black Friday. I'm also trading in: an Xbox with 7 games, a 256 MB PSP memory Stick, and maybe some Dreamcast games. How much do you guys think I can get in total?

I don't even think you'll get over $100. Best bet is to put the stuff on ebay.

But isn't it a "classic" yet? If you traded in an original Atari, I'm sure it would be worth quite a bit.

Hardly a classic.  The only reason the original Atari (which I actually have, and a full bin of games for it) is because it was one of the very first systems available to the public.
