Case:
Apevia Black X-Cruiser Case ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB, Audio and Firewire Ports


Mobo:
Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition NVIDIA Socket AM2 ATX Motherboard / Audio / PCI Express / SLI Ready / Gigabit LAN / Wirelss 802.11b/g / S/PDIF / USB 2.0 & Firewire / Serial ATA / RAID

Processor:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Windsor 2.2GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 ProcessorOverClocking it to 2.6GHz



HDD:

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3400620AS 400GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive




Ram(random Access Memory incase you didn't know):

G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

Get teh Core 2 Duo for the most bang for buck, change your hard drive to a seagate, get a better powersupply unit and for pete sake do not get the x1950, get teh 8800GTS

lol. I'm getting a better ps. I mean, was it really necisarry to note? And i want a good videocard. But not a really pricey one...

8800GTS is 430 with rebates, thats not bad considering performance. What is your total budget then?

I want it to around a 1000 dollars. i think I'm going to get cheap ram and get a better vidcard. I'm still thinking tho. I only have the mobo and the case atm. So i cant change that. lol
