That-Game-Company goes multi-platform!

2 replies 16 views Edited Jun 19, 2012

It looks like the developers of Flow, Flower & Journey have raised enough money to enable them to go multi-platform with their future releases!

I have always liked TGC's products, especially Journey, they were different to almost every other game out there & a refreshing change from the usual stuff churned out by other developers, so, what to an extent will be Sony's loss, certainly to any exclusivity will be Microsoft's etc's gain.

They had a 3 game contract with Sony and from what I gather, they wanted to remain independent (like Insomniac) as well so despite any attempt on Sony's part, they were aiming to go 'multiplatform' after they were done (other consoles, mobile, social, whatever).  It's just a matter of seeing how well they do out from under Sony (Sony Santa Monica helped them quite a bit I believe).
