Wait so we're allowed to talk about Xbox now? It's been a while since I've been to these forums.

If we keep it civil around here and dont go into a war, then I see nothing wrong with alil discussion.

Im actually trying to figure out what is this Perfect circle scratch thingy and how does it happen.

The perfect circle scratch looks like this:

It happens by moving the console to the extent that the laser eye begins to scratch the disc. To my knowledge, it is a deep scratch that is not fixable. Exclusively for Xbox 360.

@renatabls. It's not just the cost of paying to play online that sucks, it's the cost of almost everything surrounding the console. My Xbox 360 is a huge money pit and its rather sad because overall I really like the platform.

There is a small way around it. If the game has LAN support you can use Xlink Kai and play against other players from around the world.  It's not illegal. It does have a nice list of games that it supports, but it might not have or support the game that you have or want to play.

Sounds a lot like XBConnect and Gamespy which I used to use to connect to Halo CE before Live came out. Services like this only connect games that have system link options.

Pretty much.  But at the end of the day it's still great, sure it's not like live but it's a small alternative, and they do have support for Gears Of War games and Call Of Duty some of the popular online games for Xbox 360.
