In English, we have this topic:

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns?

I need your opinions so I could write my essay.

No. Having them carry guns would completely contradict the whole notion of the general public wanting to keep weapons off of school grounds. Doing so would not only bring weapons on school grounds, but right into the classroom. I think it makes for a recipe of disaster.

In basic sense, it would be easy for a student to get the weapon.

I'm fairly torn on this issue.  I can see how it can help, but I can also seen how easy it would be to just take the gun.

Yes I agree. And I wouldn't want my kids in school if I knew teachers were carrying weapons. Plus, some teachers are crooked.

They turn their back for one second, and someone could take it. This is a really stupid question. Why not just give everyone guns? I want a Steyr AUG with a scope, a silencer, and an M203 attachment please.

They just came out with a more universal personal taser.  Honestly, yes.  A teacher should command the same respect as any legal official.  I'm not saying corperate law but there should be SOME personal safety restrictions and defences.

I am torn on the issue as well. I can see the good, and I can see the bad.
