Remember the $3000.00 PC's ?

7 replies 1 views Edited Mar 26, 2007
I remember when most pc's were $3000.00 Canadian dollars. Back in the Nineties. Ha ha ha.

Wow.

Crazy.

So what will it look like in another 15 years. I'll be able to say, "I remember when the PS3 was $1000.00". "And the Nintendo sold a Wii".

Nostradamus predicts Nintendo will no longer exist in 15 years. Not consoles anyway. Sony and Microsoft will force Nintendo out of the gaming industry.

In the mid '90's I remember a lot of my neighbors shelling out $2000+ for a pc that was outdated in less than a year.

I'm glad I waited till the end of the '90's when prices came down quite a bit.

Are you kidding people still BUY overhyped three G computers.  Not that you NEED to spend that much to even have a gmaing rig anymore but regardless.  A better example is how a mere five years ago DVD players were five hundred dollars.  NOW I can go to Wal*Mart and buy one for thirty.  Thirty bucks.  It's not even crap.
