Police Radar Detectors

Alright, the cops over here in Northeast PA are going nuts with stopping people... can anyone recommend a good police radar detector?

I have a Vector 995 and it's great. It got me from Atlanta to San Diego no problem. It reallys gets them from far off to. LINKY

I used to live in the north east as well, and I think in PA police detectors are illegal but I'm not 100% sure you may want to check that out

im pretty sure they are illegal in most states, but you generally dont get a hard time for having one, they just tell you that it obviously doesnt work or something stupid like that

Actually, a few states tried to outlaw them, and it was brought to the courts and was deemed that all a radar detector did was receive wave lengths, same thing a radio does so they were then deemed legal.

I wouldn't bother. About a month ago, a bill was proposed to ban radar detectors nation wide.
