Judging by this picture, I think snails have distant relatives from a far off land (Aliens) that are going to fly down some day and detroy humanity to save all the snails from future escargo dishes Smiley Tongue

When I lived in Paris, my Mom bought them sometimes....I stayed in my room for a few days when she did.

I actually did try one of those once. On the Disney cruiseboat going aroudn the Carribean they served those in a french themed restaraunt (which was really good). My Mom ordered 8 of them and I tried one. They are very salty and at the time I didn't like them, but if i tried them again I think it would be good.

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwSmiley Tongue lol...they are high in protein but low in fat contents if served without butter. It is estimated that escargot is 15% protein, 2.4% fat and about 80% water it cant be that bad
