It's just Amazon accepting money for a game that doesn't have a confirmed price.
But Amazon doesn't take out your money until the item ships...
True. I meant it as more like, "Amazon is trying to be safe and posting a higher price as they don't know the exact price either."
amazon does this because they have to honor the low price.
if amazon listed it at 59.99 and for some reason sony made the game 79.99, if you pre-ordered it at 59.99, amazon will only charge you that.
to save their behind, they list it at 99.99 because they know it wont be that much.
Also amazon is often has higher starting prices on pre orders. (although they don`t usually on games, although in this case they just want to be safe.) but I pre ordered movies on amazon, and the pre order price is often $30 but when it gets closer to release date it goes down to $20 (which is actually cheaper then retail.)
This is insane, I just checked Amazon and looked at WatchDogs for PS4. It says it is 99.99 dollars. There is no Way I am going to be spending a 100 bucks per game! That is rediculous.
Now this might be because there isn't some set price for games just yet but seriously, this is not a good sign!
check out the link below.
the game is also coming on one New Years Eve!
Not like its illegal to jump up prices. Though I dont see the reason for it.
I trust that game prices will remain the same, but im not gonna rule out the possibility of future PS4 games ranging from 60-80 a game, depending on the game. Its possible...not probable, but possible.
