Nintendo has revealed a new game in The Legend of Zelda franchise that's coming to North America this Holiday season. The game will be set in the same universe as The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Using an isometric 2D view submerged with 3D flavoring, the game will allow Link to traverse stages in a mixture of both views as well as paperize himself on the wall to cross otherwise inaccessible sections.
Also announced is a new game in the Yoshi's Island series. This will be the third official installment, which is said to take advantage of the 3DS technology. For Earthbound fans the game will be ported to the Virtual Console later this year. Some gameplay footage of Mario and Luigi: Dream Team was also shown, which is hitting stores this August.
