So why are the Mods here delete happy? They talk about no advertising but everyone does it when they post a link to a "great" deal or something. It's BS if you ask me.

posting a link to a great deal is not advertising, post a thread about your company that say shop here or something like that is advertising.

There's a difference between, hey check this awesome game or funny picture/ movie, and hey signup to this thing so I can make money off your ass.

Here, take it this way, if you're benefiting from it, it's not allowed.

seeing as how the mods are real live human beings behind a computer, and cannot automate themselves to peruse the boards 24/7 looking for threads to delete... and wouldn't even do that if they did have the time, why not use the "Report Abuse to Moderator" button if you see something you feel violates the community rules.

No advertising means you can't post sites and try to get people to visit them, or join them, for no apparant reason.

you may post a link without being an ad. ex. is "look guys at this funny vid at...." or "whoa a cheap ps3 on www.whatever" but here is what is frowned upon at the PSU boards ex." hey guys here is a link to my site join up". and like i said before if you dont like it theres the door
