Microsoft is legitimately killing themselves

Don Mattrick, on people who have no/little internet access:

“"Fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity; it’s called Xbox 360,”

I mean, what the actual hell? Is this their way of getting out of the console business?

That's really mature of them to say. /sarcasm

Seriously, Microsoft? With that kind of attitude, I don't blame people for leaving them in droves

Mattrick said Microsoft appreciates the passion of gamers but he believes gamers are “imagining outcomes that are worse than what we believe it’s going to be in the real world.”

Wow. That's all I can say there. Judging from what he said there, he's basically saying that gamers are imaging things, and that what they're doing isn't bad.

Same here. It's really silly. The guy is an idiot, imho.

I don't know what's going on but that is no way to talk like that. I'm glad I moved over to the Playstation today.

Yea the guy really dug himself a hole there. They seem to be really good at it lately. I don't understand their arrogant attitude towards gamers these days. It's sad really.

First Windows 8, now this.  There's an emerging pattern of failure here.

I am shocked to see them say this.

Seems as if they really are trying too lose the trust of there consumers. Smiley Indifferent
