Before I read it, I was just getting ready to say everyone has bad luck sometimes.. but after reading that, you do indeed have bad luck, at least in terms of buying new systems..
I bought a 360 at launch, defective out of the box. "No big deal" I thought, this is to be expected with launch systems and Microsoft repaired it free of charge. So when I'm buying my Wii on the 19th, I think to myself "What are the odds that I would get two completely different systems and have them both be defective right out of the box?". Well, apparently pretty good because my Wii wasn't able to connect to the internet when I tried, and I found out today that the error code I'm getting means my system is basically unfixable. I just got off Nintendo and they're sending me a new one in 3-4 business days. Hopefully 3rd time will be the charm and when I do get a PS3 it will actually work.

I must say Nintendo knows what they're doing when it comes to repair. They are sending me a brand new Wii in the mail and then I send my broken one back in the box it came in. Better than getting a 360 repaired, where they send you an empty box, you send you 360 to them in that, they "fix" (aka give you a crappy refurb), then send you your refurb back. 3-4 days versus 2 weeks.
