Making a blog like the PS blog?

14 replies 84 views Edited Sep 12, 2013

Hey guys!

I have a question for those tech savvy people!

I noticed that the PS blog uses Wordpress.org , now how abouts would you make one that looks so well put together?

If you can give any tips that would be great, it just would be nice to get something going that looks to good as that one does.

Thanks everyone

You have to put some money into it for sure.

Not if you can code, design, support, and advertise it yourself.

So....for a start-up designer like this guy...he has to put some money into it for sure?

If he wants to get things up and going by hiring others to do the dirty work for him then yes.

You just have to pay someone to make the webpage. That can be a flat fee. The hosting of the site is the most expensive part. But, yeah, advertising would help offset the cost eventually.

Hosting is not that bad if you can find the right service. Some cost more, but give you a basic web builder. Some cost less, but don't give you a basic builder. I myself would prefer a service that costs less and does not have a builder, because I can code myself and design. Advertising is just playing it smart. Getting it out there, but not spamming it and throwing it in people's faces.

The tihing is I know how to code, seeing that I am a programmer.

I just wasn't sure what it takes as a whole to get a site like that going.

The layout, design and such is close to perfect

I would start out with a gateway into your site if you are planning it to be a blog. That is just my opinion though. If you need any graphical designs feel free to send me a PM. I won't charge ya. Smiley Happy
