Leviathan

10 replies 1 views Edited Apr 21, 2007
And i thought monsters couldnt get any better, if this was in god of war, I have never played it, it might get me to play it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leviathan

The leviathan is a monstorous creature of monstorous proportions.  Leviathan (????????? "Twisted; coiled", Standard Hebrew Livyatan, Tiberian Hebrew Liwy???n) was a Biblical sea monster referred to in the Old Testament (Psalm 74:13-14; Job 41; Isaiah 27:1).
It could blow fire, and could take down intire ships. The creature is either " an exaggerated account of a whale." or  "Other theories, often cited by cryptozoology and creation science, is that Leviathan was an aquatic reptile, such as a Plesiosaurus, or a member of the Hadrosaur family - specifically the Parasaurolophus."  many religions believe it was a Demon that punished people have sinned (possible spelling error) That would scare the CRAP out of me if it launched out on my ship and tried to eat me.

That's not exactly what's in God of War, though. They call them Hydra's which are big sea serpents in the Agean Sea. Looks awesome though!

Leviathan was also a book written by Thomas Hobbes which symbolized the monster of evil that was within every human, and therefore a Kingship must be set in place to rule these people. John Locke was much opposed of his ideas....
