LOTR The Two Towers Question

What happened To Sauron?  I remember the trees flooded his tower, but i didnt see him die. What happened to him?

Saruman the wizard? I believe the trees just keep him and his **bleep** locked in that tower..

yup, and sauron dies in lotr:return of the king and saruman too( you only see him die in the extended dvd)

If you have the extended editions (like me) it shows you how he dies ... Saruman falls off of the top of his tower onto a spike, lol it was funny . ....Then right after that treebeard says "The Filth of Saruman is washing away"  since he fell on to the spike in the water

That was one of the main things that pissed me off about Return of the King.  There's a hole other story when they get back to the Shire that was just annihilated on the movie.  But whatever.  I guess that movie was long enough as it is.
