I don't think its that Sony pushes to hard, although they don't need to spend that much on hardware, its that they overpromise and underdeliver. Look at any E3 05 videos for proof. On top of that Sony forces unnessary things like Blu ray and requires all games to be in that format, even if they can fit on a regular DVD.

He has a point with what he says. The problem is, Sony pushed the envelope too hard.
