Yes, be very carefule. Some of them are helpful, while others know how to pop you just right to where you'll have to keep coming back. There's more money in treating than curing after all.

The same could be said for the rest of the health care industry.

Not to the same degree though.

Agreed.  Compared to the rest of the health care industry, my chiropractor is a bargain.

We were talking about how safe they are, not the cost...but ok

You were the one that brought up money.  I was just running with it.

Right, but the main point was that 90% of the problems you'd go to a doctor for, while expensive to a degree... isn't going to cause you to come back over and over and over.

I have had a stiff neck for years and have just learned to live with the discomfort. Now that I was forced to buy insurance, I would like to use it. I've heard that chiropractors can work wonders but have also heard they can be very harmful.

My Cousin (PlymcoPrimo if you remember from mag), used to swear by his chiropractor.  He told me it was the only thing that helped fix his back pain.

Dudes just trying to scare you. If you do use a chiropractor, make sure they take xrays first. Dont use the ones that dont. Makes sense right?
