Get the iPod. The Zune is junk. It's launch day sales were crap and it has already fallen down to terrible levels. It is basically already a flop

The iPod comes with a great one year warranty. The extended warranty, AppleCare, is $60. It tacks on an extra year and Apple will basically treat you like a god for two years.

30GB is enough to hold about 7,500 songs at 128Kbps. 80GB is roughly 20,000 songs.

I'd honestly go with 80GB for the increased battery life. The 80GB player is still only half an inch thick, but you get A LOT more battery life.
