I love reality TV

13 replies 2 views Edited Dec 28, 2006

Anyone heard about this new reality show?  Called "Armed and Famous" and starts in a couple weeks on CBS.  I love the premise, celebrities become reserve officers on the Muncie, Indiana police force.  Stars include WWE champ Trish Stratus, Erik Estrada, La Toya Jacskon, Jack Osbourne, Jason Acuna (wee-man from Jackass).  If you think that’s wild I heard they’re making a sequel where they send a new crop of celebs into the war in Iraq.  I gotta watch this, morbid curiosity.

I sincerely doubt that.

I think it will be a good mix of good and funny.  Like good because in the clips I saw they are all taking it really seriously, and actually doing what it takes to be a cop.  I also think it will be a good-looking show, I can't be the only one that wants to see Trish Stratus in uniform.  Why do you doubt that sequel rumor?  If they can train people to be cops, why not soldiers?

All reality shows are crap and fake. Scooby doo is just about as much reality as any reality show.

They have some clips up on Ifilm.  I thought this one was funny: Ponch Farts. You know you've reached an all time low when WeeMan is making fun of you.  I liked how none of the police trainers so much as cracked a smile.

OMG I didn't see this one yesterday, it's of all of the cast being tasered (actually, they only show La Toya, Erik Estrada, and Wee Man in this clip): zap  I love how La Toya just goes *down*.  Plus the macho whoops from Erik, like he's playing a role - the cop right of passage.  lol
