Is Low Grade treatable?

What Low Grade means is that the cancer is slow growing, and doesn't spread rapidly.

Which means its likely that the cancer will remain in one part of the body and not keep spreading, or grow really fast (which is good)

What kind of cancer is it? And other than grade, do you know what stage it's at? Stage 0-4?

Unfortunately I don't know yet. My mother needs to go to Seattle and do a more indepth examination. Basically she did a screening this Monday. Blood samples and tissue. But it was found in her uterus. At first it might of been considered a fiboid. Since fiboids are common for women at my mother's age range.

Ah okay. Well keep us posted.

I've had experience with family members with cancer, so I completely understand. And can probably help in terms of, well, medical terms and such.

Okay I just got off the phone with my brother and he says that it is low grade, stage 1 endometrial cancer. Also that her appointement is schedule for next week. This will be a series of appointments I quess. They need to determined if she would need other treatment or if any other signs of cancer is present throughout her body.

But he says the diagnosis is pretty good that she would be able to recover. Yet the surgery has me worry. They would have to put her to sleep and everything.

The surgery is called a hysterectomy. It is the removal of the uterus in a woman. I just watched a youtube video of it and it isn't pretty. For my mother being in her 50's getting a massive surgery like that is not good!

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your mother and the letting the cancer to make her faint, FreshRevenge.

My prayers are for you and her, and I wish the best on her recovery.
