How real should games get?

6 replies 1 views Edited Jan 17, 2007
I am talking in game not graphics. You guys know how if you play a game that lets you kill things and the bodies stay on the ground and then when you come back to it, it is gone? Well thats kind of wierd, i read this on a kotaku article, check it out and see what i really mean. http://kotaku.com/gaming/corpses/dead-bodies-gaming-conundrum-229209.php

Mods dont like this, its just one of many things that people discuss over on how much realism a game needs.

no, when you past like atleast 5 checkpoints from when you kill a body it will disappear when you come back.

"I once saw a friend of mine pile up the corpses of 37 dead children in Ultima V and set them on fire"

Wow! sounds fun!

In Hitman games, bodies stay on the ground.

Maybe the next gen consoles will have enough power to body stack?

Thay stay there on Splinter Cell because you have to move them to a darkened area.  If the guards see it they freak out and raise an alarm and you fail the mission.

I think if games ever got "too" real i would stop playing shooters.

As i feel right now i wouldn't want to take another human life....if it "felt" real i'd probably play some wii games or something.

Account Removed due to Inactivity.

Thanks for being a part of my life PSU
