Both countries were in the wrong for bombing each other, there were better ways to resolve conflict without war.

Japan didnt want to resolve the conflict any other way.

the US tried to talk to them, they refused.

we warned of the first bombing, they ignored.

we dropped the first bomb then warned them of the second, they ignored.

we dropped the second bomb and finaly they surrendered.

the US even air dropped leaflets throughout Japan warning of various cities that could be bombed. we did a lot to try to avoid conflict, but Japan wouldnt listen.

I still think we shouldn't drop the A-Bombs, if anything we should of attack there military bases like they did ours give them a taste of there own medicine. Like I said before both countries were in the wrong, and your right they didn't listen. WW2 was a tragedy on both ends, in my opinion there were no winners and losers of that war just pure violence and hate.

we did. we dropped bombs on many military bases, ports, manufacturing plants, etc. they still refused to surrender.

nukes are a last resort weapon, and it was used as a last resort. the fact that it took 2 nukes for Japan to surrender should show their honor/stubbornness. if it wasnt for those 2 bombs, who knows how long the war would have lasted and how many deaths would have happened.

i do agree that the dropping of the bombs was horrible, but who knows what would have happened had the war gone on.

Again I not saying your wrong, we had to do what we had to do. But the innocent people who died or who were greatly impacted in the attacks didn't deserve it. It's always the innocent one who have to suffer at the times of war.
