how do you get the write protection off of a removable file?

right click it, go to properties, go to general tab, and make sure read onlys not ticked off

I unchecked it but it is still saying it is write protected, and every time i go back to general properties it keeps on re-checking the Read only box.

Maybe it is being used by iTunes, go in Safe Mode and do the same thing. It will work for sure.
