Help buying an HDTV

17 replies 1 views Edited Jan 17, 2007
Ok, well I don't know much about HDTVs, and I want a nice one to play the PS3 on. I want one for $1000 or less, can you help me out? Which of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Category=264&N=2102640411+138902008+4022&Submit=ENE&SubCategory=411

Would be the best buy? Or can you recommend some differant ones for my price range, I'd like an HDTV that's atleast 40 inches.

You'll want something with at least 720p and HDMI outputs.

Buy from a retail store and with shipping that is going to be harsh. Get a westinghouse.

Most plasma are a type of HDTV, I would go LCD since most of you guys wouldn't break in the plasma.

So if I bought a plasma, would it look just as good as an HDTV?
