HELP* Computer people come here

im looking for a good graphics card that will work with my computer.. the problem is, is that i dont know if my computer has 4x agp port or 8x agp port... the reason i dont know is because this computer is kinda old (still hase 1.1 usb ports) but it also has some newer stuff in it

so im asking how do i find out what kind of port i have

Last time i remember you guys suggested that it took a while to figure out. Just use CPUZ (yes it is safe), just download it, unzip it and open the .exe file, go to mainboard tab and what it says on graphics interface is what you have.

damn... i have 4x....

ok so another quistion: which is faster? agp 4x or PCI?

AGP 4x is faster then PCI.

allright and how will i know if i find a card if it will be backwards compatible with 4x? will it say it (since lots of new cards are 8x..)

AGP is backward compabitlbe meanign 8x will work with 4x.

but since your all ready chatting would you like to help me find a good graphics card with a price range around 150

i need one that can at least make flight sim X flow good and maybe 2142

First, how big is your powersupply? HOw many watts is it?
