The Sony Playstation 3 is the most powerful supercomputer in the world.

It is ACTUALLY rendering Lair SO FAST that the human eye can't percieve it. The framerates are toppling in the billions per second, so it looks like a choppy game to normal people.

Sony says we are all used to seeing inferior hardware like the XBOX 360, Wii, and HD DVD that we have to retrain our brains so we can keep up with their new system. I assume a game along the lines of Brain Age (but obviously WAY better) will be coming out for the PS3 to facilitate this.

Is it a repeat of Gundam Crossfire and the framerate associated with that?  Or simply put, it isn't finished yet?

Only time will tell.

Trust me, things like that get fixed. Motorstorm had jaggies in some kiosk demos, but now, they're all fixed. I know SONY won't let this screw up and they will fix all the bugs.

You'd make a great SONY spokesman.

Well Lair from prior showings seemed to play fine with no problems whatsoever.  Gundam was always touted as having some control issues or framerate issues from public outtings. (poor Gundam Smiley Sad  Wish they would make a full blown Sim, MMO, or an RTS already)

You might be right at home with Mobile Ops The One Year War for the 360 then.

Battlefield/Battlefront styled gameplay (you can go on foot, in a tank, APC, aircraft, and Mobile Suits) lots of weapons, lots of missions, an actual single player than involves different styles of combat including espionage and assault and more.  Covers Mobile Suits from the 0079, 08th MS Team, 0080, and 0083 eras.

Also from reports of a guy I know who actually went to the Toyko Game Show and played it...the controls are tight, few flaws.  The only thing that needed fixing is that the explosions aren't much and the framerate chugs a little bit.
