That's pretty informative.  Long, but informative.  I like it!

I agree with 99.9% of what you said.  I could nit pick a few points, but I generally agree with it all.

Nice work PLYMCO!

Indeed it is, or should I say did my friend.

National Gun Appreciation Day is/was on 19th January 2014, 4 days ago!

For those that didn't know it only begun last year, it was to demonstrate American's support of their 2nd Amendment right to own a gun.

I own guns and firmly believe in the 2nd Amendment. I find much of the recent controversy over gun rights to be manufactured by the media and NRA. I find things like Gun Appreciation Day to be in poor taste. I did participate in Popcorn Chicken Day at Sonic the other day, though. There will be another mass shooting at a school. It's inevitable. New gun laws won't stop it. In the current political climate, no new laws could possibly be passed anyway. Every time a mass shooting occurs, both ratings for news shows and gun/ammo sales soar.

Dude I spent almost $500 on ammo and some cleaning kits at the gun store this weekend, I participated without trying!

I think it is sort of useless to purchase ammo just to shoot in a pile of dirt and allow it to pollute the enviroment just to support the 2nd ammendment to bear arms. But I will be dead long before the earth goes to hell anyways.

That is why you go to an indoor range, well at least that is why I do Smiley Wink.   Its also why you use jacketed ammo if you do shoot outside, so there is no lead potentially going into groundwater.

Going to the range has nothing to do with supporting the second ammendment but everything to do with being proficient in the handling of the firearm(s) you posess!

Just wanted to correct a few misconceptions in your post.
