Games vs. Airsoft

15 replies 5 views Edited Apr 7, 2007
Today, I have been inspired to start playing airsoft. I am considering getting a airsoft gun and playing a few small games with a few friends and doing target practice. Well after you do the math, it'll add up to $37 for me to begin with a beginners gun and BBs, or I can get a gas powered one for like $65 with the gas and a few BBs.

But then on the video gaming side. I've spent a lot of money on my PS3 and games. $60 a game is a lot when i finally conpare it to the guns and stuff. Now I'm thinking about getting a 360 and a few things with it, but I already have a PS3.

So which is better for you? Gaming or airsoft (or real life fun)?

BTW, which gun should I get as a beginner's gun? A Navy Seal srping powered pistol or a gas powered pistol?

Airsoft, the 360 is great, but I would take running outside with airsoft or paintball guns anytime

If you're able to play airsoft with your friends on regular basis, then I say go for it. Otherwise, get the 360.

I'd rather be running outside with a gun in my hand rather than controlling a guy on-screeen who's doing the same thing.

Oh, and if you're going to do Airsoft, do it right. Don't get the cheap "plinker" guns. Go for the full-on Tokyo Maruis or Classic Army's with all the proper gear and equipment.

I cannot say, because I haven't ever had an airsoft gun or playeyed/used one. Though it seems really fun.
