Have you guys ever met any famous people? I've met famous athletes, like Bobby Orr, Jim Rice, etc. Never met an actor or actress. I would love to meet Vin Diseal or Paul Walker. Love the Fast & Furious franchise. Not sure, how I would act if I met movie stars, athletes are pretty much cool people and down to earth. So, just wonder what's your experience meeting famous people?
Do you have any proof that you did, rammy?
Well I get to meet NASCAR drivers every year. I've got perma Vip access at New Hampshire international Speedway and Pocono Speedway. I see Jeff Gordon at least once a year. They are all pretty down to earth regular people. Also I met Jerry Garcia when I was 14 at a campsite up the road from our house. I had no clue who he was until I told my dad that we just met Santa Clause and he told us his name was Jerry Garcia. When he heard the name he almost passed out. LOL!
I have had season tickets to the Tigers since I was a kid because my dad was a diehard Tiger fan so I became one. I have met every superstar for Detroit in the last 25 years due to fanfests and going down to Lakeland every couple of years for spring training.

Bobby Orr? Holy cow you're older than I am!
The last famous people I met were at a convention this summer. I met Vern Troyer (Mini Me), the guy in the Jabba The Hutt suit from Return of the Jedi, the kid from The Walking Dead (Chandler something), and Dean Cain (Superman).
Before that, I've met a billion famous people over the years. One of the more interesting ones recently (especially if you're a geek like me) was Vint Cerf, creator of the Internet. He had a lot to say about everything and is big into "disruptive technologies" like I am. Stuff like mining the asteroid belt for minerals and other awesome uses for technology.
I met and got my picture taken with Hootie(Darius Rucker) and the Blowfish (don't know their names ). Does that count?
Definitely. Any musicians who have more than oh let's say 2 songs on the radio are considered famous. People all over the country, and even all over the world are listening to their music and singing their songs. Most of them are recognizable, and whenever they perform they draw enormous crowds.
Hootie and his BF's are pretty big. Key and Peele were just doing a parody of Darius Rucker last week.
That was from my Army days. The USO had them entertain us. I was in Hungary at the time and they played on the Airstrip in Taszar (? Spelling) I'll try to find the photos and I'll upload them here. Maybe tomorrow. I gotta go now.
