Yes, mainly because you would be saying the same achievement every day since you only have a little over 1,000 posts.

I had to save mine until after I reached 10,000 posts, but that was back when the forums were more strict. Those who made a post count thread back then were subject to having their threads locked for posting post count threads that didn't coincide with every 10,000th post after post #10,000.

We are not in those strict days anymore! I will happily post a 10,000 post video when that comes, but I see little reason to say that there is a certain post count that is acceptable for a thread. As long as it is a meaningful milestone and can be explained, I think we are fine with it. I think that 1,000. 5,000, and 10,000 are good milestones because they are very "nice" numbers and they keep the forums from being filled with threads, but I see little reason to make 10,000 the only benchmark.

They all represent different things. 1,000 is a good milestone because it shows "hey guys, I am now a major part in the community". 5,000 does that to an even greater extent. As does 10,000.

Now, should we have post count threads with 1,611 as the miletone? Well, only if that number gives an impression that a lot of people know. Or one should explain it if that number is very important for you.

Lower. 60 seconds over there found me KarateChampChad, who is at the second dot of Square with around 10.4k.

I was just estimating.

100 off is not a large number to be off by

Ya, but he's on the second level. That's like 2k worth of posts at that point.
