Earthquakes

8 replies 113 views Edited Nov 9, 2012

Had a small earthquake here in Quebec the other morning.  Don't get many.

Been some nasties in Guatemala, Japan, Virginia, British Columbia and Costa Rica.

How do you react to an earthquake, if you've felt one?

There is not much you can do.  Stand in a doorway, I here that helps.  It would freak me out, honeslty.

I don't think California has had a "Big One" since 1995. It's been almost two decades since then. Same story with Japan prior to the 2011 earthquake.

Colorado doesn't really get earthquakes. We actually had a small one a few months ago, but it was snuffed out by the east coast earthquake, on the same day.

Like any other natural disaster, have a small crate of canned food, bottle waters, first aid kit and personal id. If you get a big quake, be prepared for after shocks.

We've had a few small quakes and tremors here in Western New York the past few years.

I've either slept through them or barely noticed them.
