E.T and star wars: both in the same universe

So, I have been reading a very interesting article explaining that E.T and star wars ( even Indiana Jones) could all be within the same universe.

it's mindblowing. That means that earth is part of the star wars universe but in a different galaxy

How about this:

Earth exist in the star wars universe but in another galaxy.   In Star Trek, this takes place several centuries into earth's future. SO, according to my assumptions, Star trek and Star wars both exist in the Same Universe.

Oh you crazy kids and your crackpot internet theories. This one is almost as good as "James Bond is a code name, which is why they all look different".

Also according to the fact that R2D2 is in Star Trek.

Or a better explaination is that Lucas and Speilberg have been friends for years, and liked placing Easter Eggs in each other's films.

Now that you mention it, Indiana Jones exists because Spielberg wanted to make a Bond movie, but couldn't get the rights to it. His buddy George Lucas said "I got something better...", and the rest is history.
