E-Bay in trouble???

8 replies 2 views Edited Dec 12, 2006
There is a new site out there now, called www.ubid.com Now, I just saw an advertisment for that site, and they say 100% Fraud Free autions, a and I quote "Buy it Now Button" and fast delivery.

I went to teh stie, and it looks so cheesy to me. Feels like walmart.com. I just don't see anyone over taking ebay. Do you think that this site might get big enough, that the fan base and the people that use e-bay slows down? Or that less things are being sold on e-bay, since now people can easily look at another auction site...

I don't like the looks of this..but we well see..

it might grow into a pretty useful site but the chances that they will actually hurt eBays sales aren't good. eBay could survive a short loss of sales because people will always stay and come back to what is familiar to them.

Ebay has a lock on the market.  It's as simple as that.
