Too bad this is not done anymore these days. I just had a nice trip down Nostalgia Lane.

For us Europeans it was Demo 1. I still got the demo and yes it's very nostalgic.

No. But I had one of those discs. I can't remember which number. Had Crash, MediEval, this Japanese RPG type game where he would say dam when he dies, an NFL and NHL game, Cool Boarders 3, the pop the bubble game, MGS, Tomb Raider, and this weird game where you were on a platform with lava under you and you killed aliens with a chainsaw or something. I swear it was demo disc 16 but googling revealed nothing.

Childhood!

also it was purple iirc

How I miss those Playstation One days :smileysad:.  I remember the old Playstation Underground magazine with the demo disc every month.  I think it was called Jampack, not sure.

I remember playing jampack, and idk if anyone else remembers this, but back in the PSone days I had the game Spyro, and you could do a cheatcode and unlock a crash bandicoot kart racer demo, well needless to say me and my brother got hours of entertainment out of that demo.

I remember the disc that had Parappa the Rapper, Armored Core, Intelligent Cube, Ace Combat 2, Croc, Steel Reign, Raystorm, Treasures of the Deep, Porsche Challenge, NFL Gameday 98, NHL Faceoff '98 and CART World Series. Back then, those games were epic!

Those demo discs were always nice to look forward to.  :smileyhappy:

I'm missing that Pizza Hut Disc One demo  :smileysad:, but I do have the Pizza Hut Disc Two demo and the Pizza Powered Giveaway demo, even though they are missing the slip cases.   Found them in a pawn shop not too long ago.

I also found a much older pic of some of my PSU, OPM, and a few other demo discs as well...

I remember the demo discs.  Those were pretty nice.  It is funny how much a thing of the past those were.

Right alongside things like memory cards and cartridges.

I find it funny how short the Memory Card stayed around.  SNES/SGEN didn't need them.  PS1 and its generation did, and so did the PS2/Gamecube.  By the time of this generation they were done away with.

If it weren't for the red/blue pack on the bottom, I don't know if I'd even be here on the forums! They are what got me hooked on PlayStation!
