Deus Ex: Human Revolution - The Director's Cut!

10 replies 2644 views Edited Oct 11, 2013

I am so excited for this game, you have no idea!

The new version of the game has ALL the DLC interated into the game, second screen support via the PS Vita, completely retooled boss fights (for more variety), an optimized graphics engine, and a ton of awesomeness, for about $30, available on October 22nd.  If you have any love for action/stealth/RPGs, then this game is a must.

For lovers of the game, we get the enhanced gameplay, feature-length commentaries, and all sorts of goodies!

Well the jokes' on you Jim, because I got the vanilla version for 10$.

I would be nice to get this anyway, but there's too many other things I'd want to buy before getting the enhanced version of a game I already own.

So do I, but, it looks like a port of DE" The Fall may well be on its way tot he Vita. Smiley Very Happy

As for buying the game for $10, the DLC is still $15+, so, you actually save money buying the new one.  having beaten the original something like 6 times, I can tell you the the price of admission is worth the DLC integration, as well as the New Game Plus feature alone.

This game is seriously my favorite in a very long time.

I feel in love with this game, there's no better way playing than being a ninja. The go to augments are falling with no damage, increased hacking so you can reprogram turrents and sentries and the strength upgrade so you can pick up heavy objects.

Maybe gas and emp immunity and increased inventory space if you feel like speed running

I always grab typhoon, icarus, and go to level three hacking ASAP.  After that, it varies with my approach in the game i am playing.  I cannot WAIT to tear up DE:HR:TDC in New game+ mode... Oh. Em. Gee.

My last playthrough, I rescued a certain character that I thought it was nearly impossible to do so, and I was so freakin' stoked at the eventual result.

NO SPOILERS, folks, but this game BEGS for multiple playthroughs and approaches.

On my 1st playthrough the 2nd and 3rd boss were ridiculousy hard, but on my 2nd playthrough I just violated them.

I'm about 7 or 8 hours into my first playthrough of the version I got off of PS+. Big fan so far. Might skip the directors cut, but will 100% purchase the next gen DE that was announced.
