How the hell is the D-pad wierd AND how is the one on the Wii any different?  It's a cross with directions.  Press left move left.  Same with up.  In FACT.....that's the entire premise.  What part of that is 'weird'?

The design.

Sony's D-Pad works strange...

What if Sony did use Nintendo's D Pad? What will that help? So fanboys could come up and say "SONY STOLE AGAIN LOFLS"

Microsoft uses a weird D-Pad too and it's really bad. Worst then Sony's.

Nintendo uses the best D-Pad on the DS Lite and Wii. It rocks.

Also, Microsoft and Sony don't care about the D-Pad anymore. They barely even use it anymore. Why? The D-Pad rocks!

I loooooooooove the D-Pad and I am glad Nintendo has a good D-Pad and they still use it frequently.

Of course.

fanboyism should be a bannable offense on these forums, as well as having a non sony brandname in your name

I find the SNES and PS2 D-pads to be the best ones out there. GameCube's was downright horrid, so small. I like the PS2's D-pad, has very responsive feel to it.
