D-Pad

29 replies 1 views Edited Jan 22, 2007
Why does Sony use such a weird D-Pad?

Microsoft uses a weird D-Pad too and it's really bad. Worst then Sony's.

Nintendo uses the best D-Pad on the DS Lite and Wii. It rocks.

Also, Microsoft and Sony don't care about the D-Pad anymore. They barely even use it anymore. Why? The D-Pad rocks!

I loooooooooove the D-Pad and I am glad Nintendo has a good D-Pad and they still use it frequently.

I'm glad they don't care anymore.  I haven't used it since PS1.

The D-pad on the PS2 is the worst I've ever used. The Xbox 360's is a little more responsive but even so, I just despise D-pads. Mainly because I've gotten so used to the good ol' sticks now.

I do like the DS/GBA D-pad though. I agree that it's the best out of any console out.

How the hell is the D-pad wierd AND how is the one on the Wii any different?  It's a cross with directions.  Press left move left.  Same with up.  In FACT.....that's the entire premise.  What part of that is 'weird'?
