Nice idea. I'll do the same. These practices are absurd.
Some **bleep** idiot orders like 20 ps4s and doesn't give a chance to people who actually need one.
No one needs a PS4. If you didn't pre order you either wait or you pay an outragous price. People who pay those prices are no better then the people who charge them.
Haha sounds like fun. I saw a PS4 in my area already listed for like $600 or $700. Seems like of wrong to overcharge like that.
Its called supply and demand. Hey if the guy can get someone to pay then more power to him I say. Its never going to change so I just live with it.
PS4s are not "Sold Out."
There are plenty of them sitting in Amazon and Walmart warehouses right now (and who knows where else.)
Why? Black Friday. Generate that buzz that you're sold out and get the stampedes in the doors on Friday when you say "Oh, we have some in stock!"
I didn't even pre-order a PS4 and was able to pick one up at the midnight launch -- where only 5 other people showed up besides me.
If people were / are persistent enough, they should have no problem finding a PS4 right now or after Black Friday.
Instead, these foolish people see "Sold Out" online, are too lazy to make some phone calls / drive out of town -- and spend double the price for a PS4. If they are dumb enough to spend that much money (and have that kind of cash to burn), I don't see any reason to only point fingers at the scalper scum.
