Computer restarting (need major help)

ok guys... my girlfriend needs help again! (btw thanks for all the ipod info n help)
neways... she got a digital camera today.. and was going to install this kodak software.. she installed it and it restarted.. and now everytime she turns it on it keeps restarting... anyone  got any advice?

Hmm, seems like the simplest way to get things back working is to start in safemode (press F8 right before you see the Windows logo at startup), and then perform a system restore.

she said shes holdin down f8 and its not going into safemode.. she told me that it was giving her the option to go into safe mode.. but now that im tellin her to presh f8 and it isnt goin into safe mode

some keys boards dont work in blue screen and stuff i donno < happnes to me when i go to install XP and mess with the BIOS

has anything been done to the mobo? cuz it could be an extra or missing standoff, and its shorting out.

that happened to my buddies pc, and he stuck a mousepad in there to fix it

Is the mousepad still alive?

Anyway, when it gets to the XP loading screen (little blue bars going under XP logo) hold down the power button for ~5 seconds. Then turn it on again. It should give you the Safe Mode option now.
