Welcome (back) to the Forums!

I would never purchase any laptop or desktop computer, or for that matter tablet, cellphone etc without it being wifi enabled out of the box, so personally my advice to you is to choose one that does.

Are there other options open to you or do you really like this Acer?

Alright, first of all the budget is $400, and cannot grow lol.

I would prefer a intel i3 or i5 over any ADM, just preference. I know nothing about mobos. I was going to build one and learn, but its adding up to quick. This comp about is leterally the cheapest option. Im not suprised it doesnt have bells and whistles, the pcu is half the price haha.

The net book im on now freezes every 30 mins haha. time to improve.

Ok $400.00, that should still get you a decent notebook/netbook, what are you going to use it for, mainly just browsing & emailing I assume?

Any particular screen size?

I just had a quick look on Amazon.com & they have a number for around both at & under your $400.00 price-point.

Also i assume this was just a typo & you mean AMD, if so i agree, AMD is something I would stay away from too if at all posible.

Have you checked out the Samsung Chromebook, it's pretty good?

Sorry boss im looking for a small desktop. Im just confused, because

A) they dont give me alot of detail in the add

B) I dont know what im looking at haha.

Like the ad says there is one free PCI-e and if thats a PCI express, i should be ok. They sell wifi cards for that.

But now im wondering what kind of ram is in there, it says theres 2 slots, and ones full, making it a 4 gig stick. If i want to slap a second in there for to macth it, i dont know the MHz . . .  Or if its even worth it to slap more ram in this lil thing.
