Buying games digitally for the PS2

7 replies 118 views Edited Aug 7, 2013

Hey everyone, my friend was going to sell me his PS2 and I kinda want to get it. The only thing is I don't want to have game disks for it, so I was wondering if it is possible to maybe buy the games on the psn and put them on a thumb drive, plug it into the ps2 and then play it. Or can I put the games directly on the ps2 like the ps3. thanks

If you want PS2 digital games, best thing is to buy PS2 classic titles fron the PlayStation Store on your PS3 to play them.

I know why you would say that. For my ps3 though I have all hard copies of my games, it's just that for the ps2 I want as minimum amount of things to be able to play it...

That's because the so-called digital titles for the PS2 never existed when it was first released, it was only retail copies.

Not Possible. The PS2 had minimal Internet Connectivity as it were back in the early Oughts and was incapable of downloading full games onto its Memory cards.

When in doubt ask yourself;" What would Daryl Dixon do?"

There is no such thing as this, BUT you could DL the games on the internet and DL Alcohol 120% to burn these games into a CD. That's wahat i used to do back then.
