I don't like playin in forces. They don't have any ankle support. I've never worn high/mid tops, but they aren't the basketball shoes for me...

They don't make air force ones like they used to. Now, they use material that's more for "walking around" Their are more casual shoes now. They tear, and scratch, just by walking around in them. They want you to buy a new pair all the time. That's why they are badly made. Retro Jordans are kinda of like that, except they don't tear up so quickly..

Yea, they are not the shoe of choice for the most athletic players. As for ankle support, they are the best behind jordan 13's. I don't play any league basketball anymore, but high top air force one's are my business......made for people who play like me. LARGE AND PHYSICAL!

But I always played in 13's.

jordans are good, aswell as converse. If you get converse go with the new wade's or any new air jordans are good. Or if you listen to all these clowns saying nike(which usually aren't as good) go with the air lightning.

It's all preference. You need to try them on.

Personally, I've worn Nike Shox the last 6 years and they are great. Light and great ankle support.
