sorry about the double post but reading that message about the 7.62 reminded me of MCT when we got to shoot all sorts of guns, and they were way mre fun the the m16. We got to shoot the M249 Saw, M240G ( i love this gun it's a beast...fully auto to...100 rounds go by really...really fast, we got to shoot the At-4 ricket launcher, and the M203 grenade launcher attachment on an m16. I'll post pics of the weapons later... I can't do it right now because the computers at work are retarded.
That's me in the pic in case you were wondering.

You can actually buy an AR-15 thats capable of firing a .308 round, its pretty awesome.  I haven't actually fired one, I've only seen them at the range.  I have fired the AK-47 and that had quite the kick to it.  Even after firing both, I'd have to say I still prefer the AR-15/M16.  By the way thanks for reminding me how great the military would have been if I could have joined. lol.

What do you mean by real?  There are a lot of companies that make AR-15s like Olympic Arms, and I think Colt is another.  Do you mean military issue AR-15s?

Anyways NICE! Gun, I actually own an AK-47 my self (The original) and a Desert Eagle. (and by some chance that is my favorite combo in cs:s Smiley Tongue)

I can get pics but I'm too lazy. But both of those guns are amazing, especially the DE, accurate, powerful, but big, heavy. Laud too. Ammo costs an extra too.
