April "Recent Buys"

29 replies 84 views Edited Apr 2, 2011

Welcome to the April Recent Buys thread! This thread is intended to be a place for you to share your monthly purchases with the rest of the community.

Before  participating in this thread, please take the time to familiarize  yourself with all the rules and standards of this thread.

  • Please post real pictures! There's nothing like seeing the real deal, no one wants to see Google pics.
  • Try  to keep the image(s) under 800 KB, especially if you're posting more  than one. Having tons of huge images from several users all adds up and  can take a toll on your bandwidth.
  • Don't quote images. It just  eats bandwidth and can stretch the page. If you'd like to quote a user,  please edit out the image(s) first.

Have fun.

I got the May issue of Motor Trend from Walmart this afternoon.

The Hot Wheels cars this afternoon were not worth looking at today, rather unfortunately.

Between Walmart and Walgreens, I saw a Yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Convertible and a Yellow Ferrari 360 Modena Spyder, as well as a red plymouth prowler with custom flames on the road today along with a few classic cars driving around.

All I got from Walgreens was a small box of Double Stuffed oreos and lemon lime Gatorade.

Well I have an update to my original post, and I won't post pics this time.

Traded in 2 games at Gamestop and got:

Blur

Burnount: Paradise

Midnight Club: LA Complete Edition

Remaining store credit towards DiRT 3

Bioshock 2 from Amazon - $12.99 plus free standard shipping, had a $10 credit so $2.99 for me.

Went back to Gamestop and traded 2 more games:

Mortal Kombat - paid in full

Remaining store credit towards DiRT 3

I'm glad to see it's still being used too and true that it isn't as active it used to be. It seems like once the forums switched from Lithium to Jive a lot of the most active posters left or barely post at all. I came awfully close to leaving myself but grinded it out and learned to navigate and post. Once one get used to it, it gets easier to deal with.

Back on topic can't wait to pick up Mortal Kombat at Gamestop next week, I'll be there first thing when they open at 10am.
