Not exactly in the direct path, but the sides of Sandy will brush by Toronto, leaving rain, cold wind, strong wind, snow and other uncomfortable things in it's wake.

Weather over here is kinda weak. I actually enjoy listening to powerful storms and watching the wind outside, but here in Toronto it's either sunny, windy, cloudy, annoyingly rainy, infuriatingly snowy or weak storms. Smiley Sad

Wish some powerful storm smashes through here just so I can watch and listen to the powerful storms. Smiley Happy

I'll tell you what, I felt the same way last year when Hurricane Irene came through. I got myself a couple six packs of beer, some snacks and was watching the Dark Knight on my PS3, all hunkered down for the storm. BOOM...power goes out, flood in my basement, and here I am, tipsy and all, trying to take water out of my basement. The sea was angry that day my friends.

Man, this was a BAD one. I've been blessed to not have any substantial damage to the house, and have power as well. Just seeing the damage all over the area is surreal. My heart goes out to the people affected by it. It's gonna take a long time to get out from under this one.

I personally wasn't, but I had family that did. Glad they are safe.

Not near it, yet I wish Las Vegas would get some rain like that. I really wish I could help the folk out there. Must be a nightmare. Also gravely worried  about my friend living there (I believe Brooklyn NY). Last I heard, she was okay, but still worried....
