Sarcasm? I don't expect Americans to know where Finland is located on the map. I don't know where say Idaho is located without googling it. So yeah...
Reminds me of a time when someone (a foreigner ) asked my dad what state he is from, he said Iowa. They said, "oh...I think we call that Ohio" . A mistake that could have easily happened for Idaho as well, I think.
I am a "foreigner," though my family is from the US and I have lived here for about 10 years.
Do you keep up with Britain's politics, and the Jubilee's?
I'm guessing Gordon Brown's the Prime Minister and the Queen is not the figurehead like everyone thinks. She visited here some time ago and reaffirmed the(her) alliance with America.
Kate Middleton is expecting soon and the baby, from what I heard, is in line for the throne. I read that on E! News of all places lol
I keep up with the "going on's" back in the UK, I subscribe to a English Daily Newspaper on my iPad & keep up with other news etc via many other means.
Gordon Brown is not thank God the Prime Minister lol, although the one that is, David Cameron isn't really that appealing to me right now, but he's doing his best & the Chancellor there is trying to get things back on an even keel economically wise, but it's tough.
LOL Havoc, HM Queen Elizabeth ll is indeed the figurehead, lol you're too funny, & a wonderful job I think she does too by the way, her allegiance with America is fake, her real allegiance lies with Australia!
Kate to you, Katherine to me lol & William are indeed expecting their first child, many congratulations to them both, & yes, it will have succession status to the Throne of England.
