We should at least be where Back to the Future Part 2 was in terms of technology right about now. What ever happened about THAT logic from that movie? :smileytongue:

Flying Ford Mustangs for only $39,999.  Yeah, where's that?  And the holographic shark and magnetic hoverboards.  As if.  We don't even have the re-hydrated pizza.

I blame Logical Dolphin.

I didn't even know these forums existed back then. I  had just gotten onto the

web a year prior to 2000, and was stuck on dial up. lol

Would be interesting to see what the PS forum looked like, all the way

back then!

I could only go as far back as 2003, but here ya go!

Yeah back when I joined in 2000, the PS2 hadn't even come out yet and almost no one had broadband internet. So I guess there was little reason to register back then...

That is true; I can't imagine the speed at which users could message each other back in the day.  "Hello"... (1 hr later) "Oh hey what's up"...

We actually just past the actual date BTTF part 2 took place. I'm dissapointed too that none of that stuff came to pass, except for the Nike shoes [not self lacing :smileysad:]. They should have made the date in the 2020's, perhaps by then some of this stuff would come to pass.

Not my fault, I always live "20 mininues into the future" :smileytongue:

Ouch, that board was UGLY!

Who wants to go around discussing PS1 games over dialup all day, no wonder I didn't stick around that board that much!

Wait - BTTF2 took place in 2015.  Is it 2015 already?  How did this happen?

My fault, the date that just past must have been the one put into the Delorean at the end of the original BTTF, we got a few more years for the hoverboards to come out....

I promise you, back then no one really cared about how the community looked. That wasn't why we came. The first major redesign didn't come until a couple years later, and even then the "old" look was kept around for quite awhile because many still preferred it to the "pretty" new skin.
