Tom Baker, Hnads Down. The SCARF MAN, IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE SCARF. When I was a TOT, evening tv lineup was;
Doctor Who
The Benny Hill Show
Monty Python's Flying Circus
There were not that many US evening programs back then.
Although, Christopher Eccleston, did make a pretty kick **bleep** Doctor. Was little surprise an actor of his current stature would not hang around more than one season.

Ahh, The Waters of Mars. Good finale. Doctor broke his own rules, but the woman would not let it be, and killed herself anyway. Tragic, and poignant.

Tom Baker, 100%, Pertwee was very good too, but he'll always be Worzel Gummidge to me, not the Dr.

Ah, you got me. Wasn't she a rag doll or something?
I only recognized the character / actor, due in part to my love for old Dr. Who, its main actors, and my sister's fascination with UK / Ausie Television shows from the 60's-80's.
I got her into The Young Ones, and The Black Adder. She did the rest. We both grew up watching UK Shows on PBS after dinner, a long time ago.

She was an "Aunt Sally", a fairground doll if you will, the type that you used to throw things at to win dumb prizes, her real name was Una Stubbs, a very well know British actress.
I loved Black Adder, the young ones too were very good.
