Re: Anyone going to watch True Blood?

YEP!, that scene after she saves Bell

the dog runs by and barks at them

and just as Sookie gets back to work, her boss Pops out asking where she's been...You would have expected him to be in the woods looking for her to begin with

The boss came to mind in the second episode as well when Sookie noticed his lights were still on after she was saved by Bill (in which the dog once again showed up).

Whoa... i didn't notice that, i'm going to rewatch it tonight again

What do you think about the vampire bites on all the girls Jason sleeps with? Do you think there's a connection with him and that bald vampire after watching that sex tape? And why the hell is he tied up...I have a feeling that the bald vampire is going to eat him

It should be near the beginning after Bill walks Sookie back to her car.  She turns back around and Bill is gone.

As for the bites, we know where the bite came from with Maudette (sp?).  I'm thinking Dawn has done the same (slept with a Vampire since she seems to have a high sex life).  As for the bald vampire, I'd say he falls into a bad crowd obviously but is tied in with Bill somehow.  We know they try to cover things up (the 'tornado', the 'freak' accident of the anti-vampire guy and his family, the attempted setup of Jason) and I'm sure he was the one to setup Jason.

Re: Anyone going to watch True Blood?

Remember earlier in the episode when a TV news show was having a debate between the anti-vampire crusader Reverend Newlin & the spokeswoman of the American Vampire League?  Did anyone notice the news report (later in the show) reporting that the reverend  and his family were killed in an accident?  It's obvious that the vampires did it and made it look like a car accident.  I wonder if his murder is going to be a major plot development later on.

Yep.  Mentioned it in my last post and it goes along with Bill trying to cover up killing the Rats (I don't know their entire last name) by making it look like a tornado and the setup of Jason by leaving only his tape there at Maudette's home but taking the others and making him the main suspect.  I'd imagine that a lot news stories before the vampires publicly came out were vampire coverups.

A little side note but on Tara's living room table (when she walks in and finds her mom passed out), the newspaper said Angelina adopted a vampire baby :smileyvery-happy:

I'm wondering if that will come up as well. I know the Temple of the sun "church" does come back again later in the books, but I do not remember the leader dying at the begining of the books. I'm re-reading the first Book... to do a side by side comparison :smileytongue:

I believe that last name was the Rattrays'. Sookie just refered to them as the Ratts cause of how they acted.   I want to know about the sokeperson vampire we see on the television doing the interviews. I have a suspicison about her as well that I want to see if it's going to play out.

and, I had to laugh hard at the tabloid sittin on the table. I LOL'd when I saw that.

My local library is pretty damn small but I'm tempted to go up there and see if they have the books.

If not see if some local used bookshop has a copy or two. Amazon always seems to have a copy there as well.  I miscounted my books the other day I have 8 books. I'm going to re-read thru them all then get to the 8th book. That one I havent read yet :smileysurprised:
